There are three major Moscow airports(Moskva airport): Domodedovo International Airport, Sheremetyevo International Airport and Vnukovo International Airport
Domodedovo International Airport
(Russian: Mezhdunarodniy Aeroport Moskva-Domodedevo) (IATA: DME, ICAO: UUDD) is an international airport located 35 km (22 miles) south of the centre of Moscow. It’s Moscow main airport. Domodedovo Airport has one terminal building. It has two piers,dividing the domestic flights and international flights. Domodedovo Airport has 22 jetways altogether.
Domodedovo is linked to Paveletsky Rail Terminal in downtown Moscow by the non-stop Aeroexpress trains. The trains run every 30-60 minutes from 6am to 11pm to the airport, and from 7am to 12am (midnight) to the city, the ride lasts 40 minutes and costs 200 rubles (about $8).The airlines’ passengers can check in themselves as well as their luggage at the Paveletsky Terminal.
There is a regular coach service between the airport and the Domodedovskaya station of the Moscow Metro located in the southern part of the city. The coaches run every 15 minutes from 6am till midnight; the journey normally lasts 25—30 minutes, the fare is 60 rubles. Share taxis from/to the Metro station are available as well, the fare is 70 rubles.

Sheremetyevo International Airport
(Russian: Mezhdunarodniy Aeroport Sheremet’evo) (IATA: SVO, ICAO: UUEE), is an international airport located about 11 km (about 7 miles) on the north of Moscow. It is the second largest in Russia (after Domodedovo).
It can take anywhere from 20 minutes to three or four hours from the city center to get to the airport. The main road leading to the airport — Leningradskoe Highway — always get clogged during the rush hour, often resulting in passengers missing their flights. Calling a taxi from downtown Moscow to Sheremetyevo costs around 1500-2000 roubles ($50-80). Slow buses and faster minivans (fixed price shared taxis, known as “marshrutka”) connect Sheremetyevo with Moscow’s metro stations.
Sheremetyevo is linked to Savyolovsky Rail Terminal (Savyolovsky vokzal) at the north of the city by the non-stop Aeroexpress trains. A shuttle bus service ferries passengers to Terminal 1 and new Terminal C. Tickets on the rail service cost 250 roubles (about $12), and journeys take 35 minutes.

Vnukovo International Airport
(Russian: Mezhdunarnodniy aeroport Vnukovo) (IATA: VKO, ICAO: UUWW), is an international airport located 28 km (18 miles) southwest from the center of Moscow. Vnukovo is the oldest of the operating airports in Moscow. The construction was approved by the Soviet government in 1937.
Vnukovo is linked to Kievsky Rail Terminal (Kevsky vokzal) at the north-west of the city by the non-stop Aeroexpress trains. Journey takes about 40 mins and costs about 200 roubles ($8).
Calling a taxi from downtown Moscow to Vnukovo costs around 1500-2000 roubles ($50-80). Slow buses and faster minivans (fixed price shared taxis, known as “marshrutka”) connect Vnukovo with Moscow’s metro stations (Metro Yugo-Zapadnaya (subway) and metro Oktyabr’skaya (subway)). The fare to the Airport and out of is 100 roubles plus another 10 roubles for every extra item of baggage. Journey could takes a lot of time cos’ Vnukovo is used by many political leaders and important people visiting Russia. The Russian President also uses the VIP facility at Vnukovo Airport.
